There was a sea-scorpion that grew up to 20ft long in the Devonian period... I think it was that period.

That was way back when oxygen were at very high levels. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but a lot of the large bugs could have been found in the ocean, right?

Right now, the largest insect seems to be the Goliath Beetle at almost 4 inches. But the Japanese spider crab seems to be the largest bug at almost 2 feet for body length and 15 feet just for the legs!

I think I'm wrong, though. There are a LOT of bugs out there. Whew.
